St. Therese uses the Archdiocesan Curriculum Guidelines with high standards. Core subjects are offered, as well as special classes in art, music, and media use.

Our rigorous Classical curriculum pushes our students to read well, write well, and think well as they grow as disciples of Jesus Christ!  Our integrated approach to teaching literature, theology/catechesis, and history helps students to see connections within all they are learning.  The essential questions that guide student discovery foster deeper understanding of themes and content and create a lifelong love for learning!

Academic classes are important, but the formation of the whole child is a key part of what we offer students at St. Therese Catholic School.  Therefore, in addition to core academics, we offer the following classes to all K-8th grade students:

  • Physical Education: our students learn the fundamentals of a variety of sports and experience the value of collaboration and teamwork.  A weekly health class will provide them with the lifelong skills and knowledge necessary to keep their bodies as a temple for the Holy Spirit!
  • Art: our students experience the beauty of classic works of Catholic art up close and then use their own creativity to imitate these masterpieces!  They begin to understand that great art is just one way to experience the loving presence of God.
  • Music: our students grow in their ability to sing and play instruments as they are immersed in the world of Catholic music and chant.  All students will perform at least once throughout the school year.
